A Sunday Session with Kristin Berardi’s Three Shades Blue Trio

Following on from the success of Mike Nock Trio’s performance, the jazz infused ‘Sunday Sessions’ continue with the trailblazing work of Kristin Berardi’s Three Shades Blue Trio.

Delight in the incredible world class musicality of Kristin Berardi, one of Australia's first calls when it comes to Jazz Singing. Her accolades – which are many - include winning the Montreux Jazz Festival's ‘International Vocal Competition’, supporting Al Jarreau and George Benson at Montreux Jazz Festival, winning the National Freedman Fellowship, receiving three National Australian Bell Awards for the ‘Best Jazz Vocal Album’ (2010, 2012 and 2016) and winning the ‘National Jazz Award for Voice’ at the Wangaratta Jazz Festival. Kristin has released ten albums and performs nationally and internationally.

If you have not heard Kristin Berardi sing, rush to do so. She is probably the finest jazz singer Australia has produced.” John Shand, Sydney Morning Herald.

Sunday Sessions is presented by the Blue Mountains Theatre and Live At The Village, showcasing original music from exceptional artists.

Sunday Sessions presents Kristin Berardi’s Three Shades Blue Trio, 2pm, Sunday 8 October, at the Blue Mountains Theatre, 106 Macquarie Road Springwood. Tickets are Full $36, Concession $32.
