Hat Fitz & Cara live at the Metro for 'Hand It Over' Album Launch Tour

High-energy duo Hat Fitz and Cara are one of Australia's most enduring, popular and talented roots artists.

The husband and wife team have clocked up 10 years of touring, festivals and album releases from their base of operations in hinterland Sunshine Coast, QLD and show no signs of slowing down.

Their worldwide festival touring circuit takes in Australia, the UK, North America, and Europe and their blend of old-timey influences sees them equally at home on Folk, Americana, Blues and acoustic stages.
Don’t miss the duo perform live at the Metropole Guesthouse, Katoomba on Saturday 16th Feb 2019, as part of their new ‘Hand it Over’ album launch tour with special guest, Blue Mountain’s local jazz/folk/bluegrass legend Vanessa Caspersz. Doors Open upstairs 5pm.
Fitzy and Cara are thrilled to announce the release of their much-anticipated 5th studio album 'Hand It Over', featuring lead track 'Hold On', and they're headed out on an extensive tour this Summer to get everyone's blood flowing.
Says Cara of the making of the new album,

"Our intent on this album was to share as honestly as we can with our music what we do live, the high energy moments that bring us together in life and the sensitive lows that we sometimes hold to ourselves. Hopefully capturing what feels good to us musically will feel good to the people listening, whether it's the first time they've heard us or if they've been fans for years."

'Hand It Over' was recorded by award-winning producer Govinda Doyle (Angus and Julia Stone) and mastered by UK legend Graeme Durham (Grace Jones, Bob Marley, Black Uhuru, Kid Creole, U2, The Pogues).
'Hand It Over' is available from all good music outlets from January 29.
