Josh Pyke’s Final Tour Heading to Baroque Room

Head to the Baroque Room on Nov 11 to say goodbye to the critically acclaimed, five-studio album veteran Josh Pyke — Best known for his intricate lyrical storytelling, thoughtful folk-pop arrangements and finely-honed stage chops.

It’s been over 10 years since Josh Pyke first splashed onto the music scene with the hit single ‘Middle of the Hill’ that climbed to 19 on the charts of Triple J’s Hottest 100 way back in 2005.

To commemorate a solid decade in music, the multi-ARIA-winning singer/songwriter has embarked on a final 12 date national tour, before hanging up his boots and going on hiatus at the end of the year.

The 10 Years of Memories & Dust tour, promises to be a farewell for Pyke like no other, with the icon fully embracing the opportunity to say a final goodbye and share all his massive hits with fans live, one last time.

Even though Pyke will be going on hiatus at the end of ‘17, the musician has alluded to continuing with some creative endeavours, saying:

“The last dozen years or so of touring have been wild and hugely rewarding, and now I'm keen to dig into some other creative projects. In the meantime, I can't wait to play for you all for the rest of 2017!"

I for one, can’t wait to see where Pyke’s new creative projects lead in the future!

Alongside the tour, Pyke has released a commemorative two-disc album, titled The Best of Josh Pyke + B Sides and Rarities. The album has also been put to vinyl for those wanting to hear Pyke’s hits on a ‘Lazy Susan’ (turntable).

Pyke’s 10 Years of Memories & Dust will be landing at the Baroque Room in Katoomba as part of the national tour on Nov. 11th w/ Harrison Storm.
