There’s a new jazz house in town for all you groovy cats and dogs. The rustic industrial brick and steel walls of the historic Boiler House Restaurant will be housing Live@TheBoilerHouse, a new monthly music series. The series will be kicking things off on Saturday Oct. 7th, with joint jumpin’ melodies from The Steve Hunter Trio.
With internationally-renowned Steve Hunter on electric bass, Matt Keagan playing sax and Gordon Rytmeister kickin' it on drums, the band likes to break things down as a 'democracy'. Meaning, instead of sticking to one jazz style, each trio player gets to have their own 'voice' heard throughout the swell compositions. This free flow, highlights each player's strength, creating a jam that’s out of this world.
“With a more casual atmosphere, contemporary music lineups, tapas food and reasonably-priced beverages, Boiler House events will introduce a new generation to the original Blue Mountains party palace.” – Says Ralf Bruegger,General Manager of Escarpment Group (owners of the Hydro Majestic).
The Steve Hunter Trio will play the Boiler House Restaurant from 7.30pm to 10pm Saturday, October 7th, 2017. Tickets: $35. Bookings: reservations@hydromajestic.com.au.
