National singing conference to be held in Leura

Australian National Association of Teachers of Singing (ANATS) National Conference 'Resonate' will be held in Leura (the Blue Mountains NSW) this year, from 4th-7th October 2018.

A not-for-profit company, ANATS is a peak association in Australia for singing teachers, providing professional development, music advocacy and networking opportunities on a local, state and national level.

The upcoming conference, ‘Resonate’ brings together singers, singing teachers and other voice professionals from around Australia and internationally, to discuss best practice and the latest research in a friendly and collegiate environment. This year’s conference is creating quite the buzz (… or melody), with two keynote speakers from the US as well as a myriad of presentations, discussion panels, workshops, demonstrations, special interest groups and masterclasses.

The conference is a fantastic opportunity to expand your professional development and delegates will be receiving an official Certificate of Attendance (not to mention the conference may be tax deductible for you!).

As this year marks the 30th anniversary of ANATS, it will certainly be a special celebration with a glittering Masquerade Ball for the Gala Dinner to boot! ANATS also plans to feature several local artists throughout the various programmed social events at the conference.

ANATS will be offering free coach transfers from Sydney (airport) to the Blue Mountains and back for all delegates! Times will be advised soon. Alternatively, there are regular trains or an easy 90min drive from Sydney.

Visit www.anats.org.au for up-to-date conference information and pricing, accommodation/travel suggestions and a link to the registration page.
