On Sat 24th Mar ’18, unleash your energy and channel your inner creativity with dance instructor, Michele Emmanuel’s Afro Fusion Dance Workshop.

Afro Fusion dance is a welcoming, high energy class, suitable for beginners and open to all ages.

About Michele, your one stop dance instructor!

With a Kenyan and Sri Lankan background, Michele has been dancing since the age of 5. After years of extensive experience in jazz, ballet, hip hop, modern and African contemporary, Michele has focused on creating her own version of Afro fusion. She incorporates the use of body mechanism, musicality and distinctive techniques. Michele's choreography is technical, strong and bursting with passion and energy.

Michele taught an Afro Fusion Dance workshop at our International Women’s Day event a few weeks ago – and it was SO MUCH FUN!

Afro Fusion is a spreading global trend with it’s fun, energetic styles that seamlessly blends contemporary & traditional African dance moves, with Afro Beat music. Dance class with Michele, isn’t just a fun way to share a Saturday, all those moves, and grooves make for a killer workout and all-out mind-body moving experience.

Experience the entire African continent and its diversity of styles with Michele’s infectious dance energy and love of teaching.

What to Wear/Bring: Wear whatever you feel comfortable in, bring water and a smile! Most dancers dance in bare feet, but if you’d like to wear shoes, that’s fine.
