"This photo was taken at Cahills Lookout in Katoomba at around 11PM, overlooking the Megalong Valley. I think the lights in the distance are Lithgow and Bathurst. Being raised in the Blue Mountains encouraged me to explore my surroundings and capture the full beauty of this environment. Having grown up in an artistic family, creativity was a part of my life from very early on. I started a serious photography career about six years ago, but I’ve been taking photos for as long as I can remember. Photography is a means of expressing myself and creating what I love. It’s like a type of meditation to me. Showing the world we live in through my eyes."
