Meet leading local artists in their studios during the 2018 Blue Mountains Arts Trail on Saturday 16 and Sunday 17 June.

Stage 2 of the Arts Trail gives you free access to some 11 studios from Hazelbrook to Mount Victoria. Come behind the scenes to meet the fabulously talented artists in their studios and get blown away by their brilliance – ask them questions or immerse yourself in art!

Delight your senses as artists show you their diverse collections of paintings, pottery, mosaics, jewellery, multimedia, photography, ceramics, glass and more. Art on display for show and sale is unique – no mass productions here!

The Arts Trail takes you through the breathtaking vistas of the Blue Mountains so come and take a leisurely drive, or catch the comfortable intercity trains, or use Uber to get around – the choice is yours.

Pic: Artwork by talented Blue Mountains artist Michiyo Miwa. Miwa’s work focuses on Japanese ink painting called sumi-e or suiboku-ga, an art technique that was first developed in China during the Sung dynasty (960–1274) and taken to Japan by Zen Buddhist monks in the mid-14th century.
